East Hartford, CT (09/30/2024) — MEDIA REMINDER: New England Water Science Center, Goodwin University to cut ribbon at East Hartford location

On October 4, 2024, Goodwin University and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) New England Water Science Center will cut the ribbon to officially open the Center's new location in East Hartford. The Center provides timely and reliable information to federal, state, tribal, and local stakeholders on the water resources of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. This data help safeguard human and wildlife health, public safety, and environmental sustainability. The partnership between Goodwin and the Center is the latest development in the University's ongoing efforts to revitalize East Hartford's south end with resources that increase access to education, build the regional workforce, and strengthen the state economy.
