Goodwin University 9-11 Day of Remembrance
East Hartford, CT (08/21/2023) — On Monday, September 11, 2023, Goodwin University will once again host a 9/11 Day of Remembrance ceremony. Participants will gather at 10 am at the Connecticut Fallen Star Memorial on the Goodwin campus in East Hartford. The program will feature presentation of colors by the VFW, the East Hartford Police and Fire Departments, as well as remarks by Goodwin's president, Mark Scheinberg, and East Hartford's mayor, Michael Walsh. The East Hartford Veterans Commission will read the names of Connecticut's Post 9/11 Fallen Heroes. The public is welcome to attend.
