Yamira Rosa Graduates From Goodwin College's Summer Bridge Program

Yamira Rosa has graduated from Goodwin College's Summer Bridge Program, a program designed to bridge the gap between the transitional stage from high school to college.

Rosa, who attended Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, is one of 60 Summer Bridge Academy graduates who will be enrolling at Goodwin College in the Fall. Rosa is a resident of New Britain.

Designed to help recent high school graduates gain the skills they need to succeed at the next level, this program is a stepping stone towards their goals in education. "The students before you certainly have a huge advantage entering the fall," said Sandy Wirth, Goodwin College Dean of Students and Assistant Vice President.

Goodwin congratulates Rosa and all of the Summer Bridge graduates for completing a rigorous curriculum and wishes them all great success as they move onto college.
