Shanna Smith Earns Certificate in Medical Assisting from Goodwin College

Goodwin College is pleased to congratulate Vernon resident Shanna Smith on achieving a Certificate in Medical Assisting .

On Thursday, June 6, Smith was one of 570 students to be conferred a certificate or degree from Goodwin. In total, the College awarded 137 certificates to students in a variety of programs.

East Hartford-based Goodwin College is the fastest growing nonprofit private college in Connecticut. Programs like Medical Assisting are in demand and the College seeks to provide students with opportunities to earn certificates in careers where they can succeed.
