East Hartford Resident Shannon Merrick Makes Goodwin College President's List

Goodwin College is pleased to announce that Shannon Merrick, a resident of East Hartford, has qualified for the Fall 2012 President's List, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA for the session. Merrick is one of 239 students who has made the list, the highest academic honor awarded by Goodwin.

Mark Scheinberg, Goodwin College President, said, "Many of these students did not come to college by an easy path. They've worked very hard for every grade, and to achieve perfect 4.0 GPAs is a testament to their hard work. Our students inspire us every day and I am delighted to congratulate them on qualifying for the President's list."

To achieve President's List status students must maintain straight A's and a 4.0 GPA and must be registered for at least six credits. Of the 3,317 students registered only 7% earned a spot on the President's List.

The College congratulates Merrick on this academic achievement and looks forward to more success in the future.
