East Hartford Resident Sarah Sheldon Graduates from Goodwin College magna cum laude

Sarah Sheldon has graduated from Goodwin College magna cum laude, one of 73 students to complete their degrees with honors.

Sheldon, of East Hartford, received a diploma on Saturday, June 9, during a Commencement ceremony at Goodwin College's River Campus in East Hartford. In total, 534 students graduated from the College in 2012.

Students achieve Cum Laude status by graduating with a minimum 3.5 GPA, Magna Cum Laude by achieving at least a 3.7 GPA, and Summa Cum Laude by finishing their studies with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.9.

Sheldon earned a degree in Health Science, one of several different programs that Goodwin College offers.
